The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding and appreciation of different cultures, their interactions and their contributions.  The course will explore the different peoples of the world, their cultures and environments and their interactions throughout history.  Students will also develop their analytical and interpretative skills.  This course is the first year in a two-year study of world history.
